NSW Sprint Champs
Not really engaged in this at all after usual range of IT issues. Great course by Ali which was fun to figure out even at not-serious pace. [update: Lyra beat me on all 5 common legs].

Start clocks require a male-to-male USB to program them. When I sat down to work on them at 6.00 last night, no such cable. Scrabbled through every possible place in the hous eto find one, but couldn't. By this time room was usual pre-O mess.

Went to Office works and bought something which was USB-male to male but promised easy file swapping between PCs. Didn't work.
Cut up two existing cables and soldered color-to-color wires, then covered in hot-snot. Surprisingly it worked !

Finished packing clocks, network gear, batteries, laptops etc etc at about 10.30. Last thing in the box was a male-to-male USB cable which came from I-don't-know-where.
