New shoes - right one felt tight putting them on but they were fine.
Better than my orienteering where I navigated badly to wrong controls etc.

In my defence:

Navigating to #2 I went (or tried to went) to the higher control in this picture. I stuffed it up only to get there and realise that I had gone to #14. When I finally came to attack #14 later I stuffed it up the same way.

The bad news - Lucy has moved to Artarmon/St Leonards, so I had to ride Lucypace once we met on the highway. Fairly brisk ride after doing nothing but walking all week. Beautiful day though.

Lost contact running out of the start and then went for a super cautious route for the first leg which lost me 3 minutes but got me into the map. After that fairly clean until I stopped concentrating within sight of the finish and threw away the lead in M55.
