Sydney Sprint - Georges Heights.
Pretty rusty orienteering wise. Thrown at an early control where the description was... odd (they used canopy instead of cave) and there was a gaggle of people obscuring the control. Also re-punched a few controls as I though my Air wasn't working. Lost $3 to Lyra on our common legs.

L hammy a bit sore in addition to everything else, have been neglecting stretching.

From St Ives this time. Seemed pretty fast to me, but legs were well rested so I coped. Peter, Jock, Simon, Guenter, Mounty et moi.

Rod with the NSCC peleton from the police constructed chicane on Mona Vale Road to the bottom of the hill. Some of them really like to ride over the double lines.

Thursday pick-up. Scored what must be my nicest goal for a while. Cut deep with Joe marking me, then back towards the handler - Mark V. Joe must have been on my tail and he is way faster than me, so Mark didn't try to pass. Cut deep again and by now had some separation, Mark threw a long outside in flick to the far side of the ez and I laid out to just grab it by the rim as I slid long. Very satisfying.

Beat the heat run - didn't beat the humidity though.

First run in new shoes - felt good through the step, rolled my left ankle a couple of times through some gnarly sections, but not badly, they are narrower than the wide-fit Bondi's were. Like the heel cup.
