Finished off the slope I had been working on, then went over to the mini-bike area where I had a fairly tedious run-in with the caretaker for a film set set up over there. Her paranoia and reluctance to trust me was an amazing contrast with my interaction with the guy who does actually live on the house on the showgrounds who I had a happy chat with after crashing his garden. She insisted on photographing me, taking my name, calling some random film person and then walking me off the area and squirting me for phytophthora. I stayed polite...

Happily I had managed not to curtail my initial instinct to ask what the f**k she was doing squatting in such squalor on the old mini bike area, I figured afterwards it must be part of the film set.

Also - two leeches, found a few hours later
