Really nice to be back on the bike.

bush walk 2:15:00 [3] 5.5 km (24:33 / km)

Barrenjoey circumnavigation with Carol. Pretty close to high tide made a slightly sketchy scramble/walk slightly sketchier. Saw a lot of seals on the W side of Barrenjoey head which was very cool. No falls from either of us but I have worn off the skin on my fingers to the extent that various electronic devices no longer recognise my fingerprint.

Great proprioception exercise.

Had a swim from the beach at the S end - water was super warm, apparently 22.9c today around Sydney.

Last pair of dry runners sacrificed to the mud. Running with 1:10k map of Korpeka. Looks quite steep, need to learn the different marsh symbols. Happy l should get a week or so if exposure to Finnish terrain before WMOC as I only see 1 weekend of real orienteering here before I go.

Note: Only "navigated" about 2/3 of the way round before I got round Fairylands loop.
