Orienteering race (Metroleague 6) 41:19 [2] 7.32 km (5:39 / km)
(injured) shoes: Inov8 212 (blue & orange)
Boggabilla Lansdowne Park - Div 1
A must win for BF to regain the Div 1 crown. I wonderded if I had picked up the right map as 1 was so straightforward. For some stupid reason I tried to go direct from 3 to 4 and got caught in some gnarly undergrowth resulting in a fight with a branch which the branch won. From here onwards kept on coming across Fergus Mackie who was quicker but less accurate than me, at least he kept me honest. A few wobbles but nothing too serious. In the end BF beat Garingal on the day to finish ahead of WHO on point differenece. Maybe the first time a father and son combo were in a div 1 winning team. Huge bruise on my thigh which became nicely swollen by the time I'd finished.
