Orienteering race (ACT SL7) 1:14:08 [3] 9.87 km (7:31 / km) +185m 6:52 / km
ahr:154 max:189 shoes: Inov8 212 (black & red)
Orchard Road (Kowen Forest East) - Hard 2 (MM)
Another poor performance with MP recorded. Thought the green dots on the map were patches of brambles so wandered around in the vicinity of 1 wondering which of the clumps were mapped, answer was none as the green dot was a tree root, so lost 2 mins here! Re-caught Paula at 2 as he had got ahead of me at 1 and ran together to 9. Lost touch here as my legs weren't happy and then promptly lost time at 11. Part way to 13 suddenly decided S was N so headed in the wrong direction, no idea why. Finished to find I'd MPed having missed 6. Had definitely been there as was with P. For some reason P's SI Air stick was registering multiple times (5 times at 2 and 2 times at 6, amongst others) and I reckon this was the reason mine didn't register. Given it was a bad run wasn't too fussed.
