The Tank Paddock - Hard 2 (M50)
Having driven home on Saturday and back in the morning in pouring rain was expecting the worst, amazing the weather fined up for the event. New map with an interesting little course with lots of twisting and turning on varied terrain. Only significant time loss was at 17 where I couldn't (and still can't) see the the small watercourse on the map and spend a minute of so looking in the main one. Became a bit confused at the end where 12 and 21 were adjacent to each other. Generally a bit off the pace. Only minor criticism was that the print quality meant it was difficult to read the detail on the map.

Booragul Campus - Hard 2a (M50)
Feeling a bit jaded but still managed a good run. A couple of route choices that weren't perfect offset by some long run legs. First M50 and second on the course over 90 secs behind Peter Annetts. Fun little course.

Orienteering race (SL12 part 2) 18:13 [4] 2.89 km (6:18 / km)

The Old Steam Tram - Hard 2a (M50)
Well that was hard, must have been one of the hardest sprints I've done in NSW. Little chance to get the legs going with the continual fear of losing contact with the map. Lost over a minute on 2 running past it and then becoming totally confused as to where I was. Had to help Nea out at 4 but can't blame that for my performance. Finished 4th M50 but still took the combined win as Tony Woolford had a shocker in the morning. A great course.

Not feeling very lively given I only flew in the previous morning. Took it easy except for the last long one.
