North Sydney Boys Schools - Long line
Would have been tricky if it hadn't been mapped at 1:1500 meaning everything was reasonably clear. Didn't push too harder and had a cleanish run thankfully not getting caught by any of the impassable fences.

Orienteering race (Sydney Summer Series) 40:39 [3] 5.74 km (7:05 / km)
shoes: Brooks GTS16

Blackman Park - Line (SVM)
A mass start which always gets the adrenaline going. Unlike quite a few didn't go too high for 2 meaning I was in a reasonable position running back across the park, unfortunately this was as good as it was going to get. Took the lower route to 3 getting caught by Undy & Michele who had gone over the top. Steady after that not losing too many places except for the run in (or down) to the finish.

ANU South - Open
Brain and body seemed to have reached outload as some shocking mistakes on a tricky course. Okay to 9 then became totally disoriented leaving the control. Lost about a minute wandering around, luckily in the right direction, before realising where I was and finding 10. Like many was caught out by the unmapped locked gate coming out of 11 and took a suboptimal choice to 12. Next brain fade was at 15-16 where another minute was binned, not sure what happened. Worst run of the five by far, poor way to finish a great series of events.
