Dhuwugarra - Hard 2 (M55)
Slow and steady to 1 and then drifted to the left on 2 (this control seemed to cause problems for a few others as well). Took a long, safe route to 5 around the tracks to the north. Only other time loss was coming out of 9 where a young girl asked me where she was, took a while to get my head around her 1:7500 map and work out where we were (30 secs).

Picked up a few controls in Bicentennial Park before heading on south on a clockwise loop. Had already committed to the drag up to 26 before realising it was a stupid decision meaning I had to skip a few controls on the way back. Yet another disappointing run rounding off a disappointing series.

Mount Sugarloaf - Hard Medium
Good to get a hit out in the bush before next weekend's Hill End events. Deliberately took the sub-optimal cross country route from 4 to 5 rather than running around the track. Binned a bunch a time at 7 when I thought I was at the tree roots near the road so headed downhill to the rocks before realising my mistake. Dropped too low at 11 to the path so had to slog back up the hill. Hot and humid!
