Foot still swollen but slowly getting better. Some self induced suffering today, no one to blame but me. Like most things it takes a lot longer to get over a hangover when you’re older :(

R foot quite swollen after the weekend, had felt something last week so may have been Hill End related. Hole in the leg not too bad.

Soapy Flat - Long Hard
Far more enjoyable than previous outing here. Thankfully went out after #1 had been moved to the correct termite mound, still didn’t stop Ewan losing more than 12 mins here! Biggest mistake was at #5 were I ran too far down the track before turning off to look for the termite mound, in the end backtracked and went in more successfully, 6 mins lost. Plenty of unmarked tracks so learnt early on to take a bearing and avoid all but the obvious tracks. Paula beat both Ewan and me to claim house honours. Managed to get a stick in the leg between the last control and the finish, an impressive hole I’m told, probably worthy of a stitch or two but didn’t fancy a visit to A&E.
