New Plymouth Girls HS - Course 3 (M50)
Like many was confused a the start triangle heading NE through the white to the path rather than NW to the control (c1min). Crossed the bridge into the school after the first three controls with lots of twists and turns around the complex buildings. Good fun.

Paths of the Dead - Course 3 (M50)
The first 14 controls were in Te Henui cemetery weaving between the rows of graves and tombstones (good to have run at St Leonards) before crossing into the Western Institute for the remainder of the course. Miscounted buildings on the way to 18 and ended one too high up on the hill. Another good course.

Tongariro Alpine Crossing with Paula and Nea while Ewan and Cam ran ahead. Great views unlike 21 years ago when I didn’t see anything.

Tongariro River Walkway with Paula & Nea as far as the trout farm then back along the track that followed the river before crossing over and finishing up over the lookout much to Nea's annoyance.
