Orienteering race (2020 NSW Long champs) 1:39:24 [3] 6.32 km (15:44 / km) +144m 14:08 / km

Seldom Seem - Hard 5 (M55A)
Slow and steady to 5 struggling to move any faster than a walk due to the fallen timber and rocky terrain. Stupidly decided to contour round to 6 rather than going over the top. Dropped too much height and ended up in the green where I lost the will to live after wandering around aimlessly for a while. Relocated thanks to Michael W but still couldn't find the control (my heart wasn't in it) so bailed to fence and used this as an attached point for 7, which I also couldn't find. Then followed the walk of shame through the start to the finish. Shocking all round.

Orienteering race (2020 NSW Middle champs) 1:12:24 [3] 5.79 km (12:31 / km) +125m 11:18 / km

Seldom Seem - Hard 2 (M55A)
Like most people had trouble with 1 as the mapping was sus., also 2 as I couldn't convince myself the control was in the middle of the huge rocks on top of the hill. Too low on 4 so relocated off the creek and open ground then promptly did a 180, losing 2 mins. At 6 I stupidly up upstream in the gully to the path rather down to the control (not sure what I was thinking). Only other issue was flicking a stick up into my eye at 13 so took a while to sort that out. Overall a poor run.

Orange Botanic Gardens - Long
Took it easy as legs were lacking any zip. Interesting mapping in places wrt to the olive green and random thin black lines.
