Picked up the pace slightly on this run. After adjusting my form, I felt like I haven't been as fast as I used to be. I'm not sure if this is truly a result of changing my form, or if I'm just not in as good shape as I was when I put in the best runs. I notice that I feel like I can go faster if I stretch out my stride a little bit (as I did tonight).

Made some major inroads in my running form this week. Watched the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=787hU5R79JY&safety_...

I mimicked the form shown here (upright posture, midfoot strike, smaller motions with the hands, and a bent knee with a slightly forward poster). I felt exponentially faster. My cadence was faster for sure, and I felt like I was using momentum much more appropriately. I ran this route in 20:48. I believe my fastest time before was a 20:34, and that was definitely a high 4-5 intensity. This felt much more like a 3.
