After a typically terrible night's sleep (garmin assured me i was tired and basically got no rest) and a log day of meetings, I was feeling pretty drained, and the high temps weren't helpful, but I knew I'd regret not going out for at least a short hike. Decided an easy 30 minutes was more than manageable, and headed out. Parking lot was sparse, even for mid-week (I assume) and indeed I only saw 2 other people out on the trail.
