running around the neighborhoods near my hotel. been a long time since i've had to deal with heat, humidity, and hills, but the blue ridge mountains are beautiful, and i really enjoyed my run.

tempo run with final kick group. tired (as usual) tonight. hating my job right now, but hopefully it will get better soon, and at least i'm actually scheduled to fly tomorrow. and there's a slim chance that my community might decide to stop being 20 years behind the rest of the navy and actually send females to Atsugi, Japan. my other choice is Oxnard, CA. not sure anymore which one i'm hoping for, but i guess i'll find out in the next week or so.

twice around the pungo loop. got a nice paceline going today, and it felt good to be back on my bike. probably the last chance i'll have to ride before heading to mountains this weekend, but i'm looking forward to some hills.

quick run around the neighborhood before it got too dark. felt really good tonight-my unintended week off seems to at least have had the benefit of letting my body completely rest/recover. despite the exhaustion/stress from work, i felt completely loose and relaxed so i was really able to focus on my form and practice the stuff hank's been teaching me. even did a few surges, and it felt really good to turn my legs over fast.
