| pungo ride. had to go by myself, since i was still trying to recover from the winging party at 0730, so i went at the much more manageable hour of 0900. still quite a bit of water on the roads, but noticably down from yesterday. |

| So much for my brilliant plan to use my free friday morning for a long brick workout. on the bright side, thanks to ts ernie, i can now take up scuba diving without having to leave the comfort of my own driveway. and i found out that (baring some kind of disaster, or the navy's usual stupidity) I'm going to Japan!!! Keep your fingers crossed! |

| ahhh, hills. enjoyed the ride immensely, even though the 4000' of climb was far more painful than i anticipated. the 40+ mph descents made it all worth it. except for the part where i nearly had a head-on with a deer at 37mph. that would have hurt. |
