| opted for more of a cycling workout today. my left knee was bothering me a bit yesterday during my run, so i didn't want to push things too much. and the pool is closed until the end of the month. boo. |

| since the pool's been closed for the last month and apparently will remain so for the next few weeks, weight training has become my sole source of upper-body conditioning. not really sure i like it-i've always steered away from the scary looking jarhead types that seem to gravitate toward that side of the gym. |

I'm starting to wonder if i'll ever get rid of this cough. felt fine the day before the meet, but the second that sub-freezing air hit my lungs i was hacking like a tuberculosis patient. couldn't run much as a result, and i lost a lot of time making stupid mistakes. oh well. |
