I'm definitely getting too old for the whole "lets stay out all night and see how much we can drink before we run a race in the morning" game that is so popular in my squadron. My legs felt like lead the whole run, and I let Emily talk me into staying warm in the car prior to the start vice warming up properly, which was a terrible idea. That said, at least my lungs were cooperating this morning, despite the 23 deg temps at the starting line.
Still a bit of pain in my left knee, which was a bit troublesome, and my decision to wear an old pair of road shoes was apparently ill-advised, since my calves, ankles and arches were all protesting loudly.

took the day off since the academic final was this morning and all i wanted to do was take a nap this afternoon. and my left knee is twinging a bit in the IT band region so i figured a rest day may be in order.

had to cut my workout short today since i was carpooling w/ justin and nick and they're still in detention. I think the only thing better (for my motivation to work out) than being in detention myself is to have my carpool buddy on mando. Now that I don't have to worry about angering The Brit by not being back in my cell on time, I've got nothing but time to spend in the gym. :)

Monday Feb 5

played with the incline settings today-ranged from 1.0 to 4.0, also played with the speed settings between 5.5mph and 6.7mph.
