Yoga for runners class. Lots of work on the hamstrings and core strength today.

Was running short on daylight by the time Jeremy got home, so went for a 20 minute jog rather than the pyramid workout. Felt fairly good, if rather slow. Still, haven't done much running in the past year, so I'm trying not to be too frustrated.

Yoga 30:00 [3]

Lots of work on my core and opening up my hips today. My core is especially weak, and my quads are extremely tight, so lots of work to be done there. On the bright side, my piriformis is not as tight as it has been, and I think I'm making progress with the tightness in my hips.

Pre/post natal class. Probably the last time I'll go to this class, the yoga for runners and the hips,core, and back class are a better workout for me these days. Although knowing Katherine is welcome in the class is a big selling point.

running 30:00 intensity: (10:00 @1) + (20:00 @2)

Pyramid run. Might start changing it up next week, but for now this is still feeling like a decent workout without pushing myself too hard too fast.

Also, Katherine has decided to celebrate turning 8 weeks old by sleeping almost 6 hours at a stretch for the last couple nights in a row- huzzah!

Walking 35:00 [1]

Woke up this morning to find that my abs and core stabilizers were a bit DOMS-y, which I expected, given yesterday's yoga workout. I didn't expect my hamstrings to feel twingy, though, so that was a little annoying. Opted to just go for a brisk walk with Jeremy, Katherine, and the dog, and I'll try jogging again tomorrow.
