Friday Dec 1 #

swimming (Water polo) 50:00 [4]

Water polo for PT this morning. The good news is that Katherine slept through the night in her crib last night, but I think she's coming down with a cold, so we'll see if this lasts.

Monday Nov 27 #

biking 30:00 [2]

Stationary bike at the gym this morning. Katherine slept from 8-11 last night, then screamed bloody murder until I brought her into our room. She then proceeded to snuggle happily, but it's shocking how much room she thinks she's entitled to. This is definitely not a long term solution.

Sunday Nov 26 #

orienteering 1:10:24 [3] 8.0 km (8:48 / km)

Lovely score-o at the university of Maryland campus. The 1:7500 scale did weird things to my brain at first, and probably 1 or 2 legs I would have done differently if the map had been true ISSOM, but overall it was just nice to be back on a map and reasonably healthy. In other news, Katherine celebrated turning one by refusing to sleep in her crib, and waking up 1-2 times a night screaming until I (not dad, only mom!) go in to rescue her. Hoping that going back to daycare and getting back to her usual routine will help her get over her separation anxiety, but if anyone has recommendations on how to get her sleeping through the night in her crib again, I'll gladly take them.
