Town creek 5 mile course before Katherine and Jeremy got up. Quite pleasant out this morning. And, in a surprising turn of events, absolutely nothing hurt, nagged, or twinged! Not my calves (not a hint of tightness!), or my hip, or my knees, or even my back/feet/butt/whatever!!! Now, if I just had the faintest idea what I did differently...

First real "brick" workout in a while. Looks like the weather and my schedule should cooperate so I can do one next week as well. Rode the road bike today, need to use the tri bike next week so I can compare before deciding which bike to use at Smith Mountain Lake. Right knee was really tight/painful just above the kneecap when I started, but a couple minutes of easy jogging and a short stop to stretch and apply pressure to the area did the trick.

Drills, 4x100 IM, 2x200 free, and some sprints. Water was cold today (77F), and I had the pool mostly to myself, but still didn't feel super peppy.
