Stationary trainer at the gym. Not feeling super peppy today-got my flu shot yesterday, so hopefully this will pass in another day or so.

It's so fun watching Katherine go from being VERY timid in the water, to today, when she was jumping in all by herself, swimming under water, and at the end of class, she said she didn't want to get out and get lunch, she wanted to keep swimming :) Hard to believe only 2 weeks ago she was crying most of the way through class. Only 1 more week of classes, then we'll likely take a break until after the new year before I sign up for another session. Really appreciate the new aquatic director, though, she's been fantastic getting new programs started up on base (including a master's club, yay!)

orienteering (brown) 1:18:00 [4] 5.0 km (15:36 / km)

What an absolutely beautiful day in the woods. The weather was perfect, the course was enjoyable, and the woods were pristine. I honestly can't remember when I've enjoyed myself so thoroughly on a course. AP shows no lost time, I think that's a bit generous, as I definitely got sucked off my line on the way to 9, and had a hesitation on the way to 6 when I tried to convince myself that I'd gone too far, even though I clearly hadn't. But overall I kept very good contact with the map and was even feeling confident and fit enough to try to keep moving just a little faster than what was "comfortable ".
