Warm up jog, strides, and some stretches. My right gastrocnemius has been cramping up for the last couple weeks. Keeps getting better for a day or 2, then cramps up when I'm doing something ambitious, like walking down stairs. Le sigh.

Myrtle Point trail race with CBRC. A little slower than last year, and 55 degrees in light rain, so I was overdressed in a jacket and tights, but my hands were cold most of the run. Maybe I should try short sleeves and gloves next time I'm in similar conditions. I seem to have been having more trouble than usual lately picking out the right number/weight of my layers. Trail conditions were decent, a bit of mud, but nothing too bad. I'm still fighting off a bit of a cold, and my calf was a little sore.
