Nokie Ski Race. Year 20 and I’ve done em all. As someone said I’d you flip a coin 20 times at least one is going to come up heads. The temps were 30-32 and the course was firm and Fast!! Compared to some years the temps were so cold some folks dropped to the shorter race.
The down hills were like flying and there was even a tail wind. There were some hairy down hills that had some crazy turns at the bottoms, but my ski skills came back just in time.
Overall one of the best courses in 20 years. Since I have done all 20 I was awarded a special beer mug!
Only 32 others have done all 20, so I’m a legacy skier for my Marquette event!
Even had a $20 massage from one of my college friends daughter working the massage tables after the race.
