Ravenswood 5K Oh well , I am 9 seconds slower than 2 weeks ago. Need to start training, only if my foot would quit bothering me.

New map Cats Agenda. A little warm and tired from 5k. Messed up a couple of controls with no good attack points used.

Another windy but nice on my 20 mile loop. A little tune-up for 5k tomorow and O meet at Cat's Agenda.

MY workout for the girls track team was 200's and than hand off to your partner, well you partner hands back off to you at the other side of the track. So while they are running you have to get over to the other side for a handoff back to you. Little recovery time and fun because you and your partner are running against other partners. Good work out. I did not specify how many we were doing, I just wanted to get a lot. We did about 8.

Ok I could not stay with the leaders after the 3rd one. I was moving OK, but...... 2 controls gave me problems. Only intense cause of the heat 75-80 degrees.

I flagged the sprint courses and began the middle courses. It was a super day and I still had to get back to Kenosha for stuff. I will have to make it back again.

Devils Lake 6.2K Well I missed the first control, overshot. The rest well well, a bit slow due to the poor runability. Well that stopped no one else, Chicago O club was in full force at the meet.

Floor Hockey, too many kids so we had 3 teams and after a goal, losing team left the floor.

Well the track meet was cancelled so the hard Wed. workout that we never did was done 8 X 400 meters. I did them average of about 87-88's
My track girl was hitting 79's her last two. I need more workouts like this .

I ran on a tredmill, can you believe it. It was cold and wet and I was short of time, so I ran inside. Kinda of boring except for one of my cats is perched next to treadmill at my level. So I thought he would be trying to claw me, but only when I provoked him to play.

12 laps to the 1.5 mile. I just wanted to run the course from school race Wed to see if I could beat the fastest time which was 10:02. I needed a run.

Sunday Apr 8

Mt. Biking 3:15:00 [3] 36.0 mi (5:25 / mi)
36 degrees out and Desplaines River Trail ride to Easter Dinner at Bond's residence. A little slow due soft trail and road crossings due to underpasses being flooded out. I came back 5 minutes faster.

Day 2 Fairhill O Meet. Ok I was pissed about being late for the start and running up the hill to the start. They started me 3 min. late from my orginal time. Off I went and had a good run, spiking all controls. 2nd best overall time on GreenX and best time in my age class. I moved up from 5th to 3rd overall for the weekend. Yahoo
