Sunday Jun 3

Running race 20:14 [5] 3.1 mi (6:31 / mi) vdot: 49.0
weight:154lbs
5K Run for the Roses. I really did not feel all that great at the start, but it was not hot or very humid so there were not of the 4 H's. Hot,Hills, Humidity, or Hungover. Well I still have an O meet today.
Orienteering Meet race 1:05:37 [5] **** 7 km (9:22 / km)
spiked:18/20c
The course was Clark's Iron Butterfly with a Box thrown in. It was pretty clean excet the controls were hung soooo looow. They were hard to spot unless you were on top of them . well that's really a control stand issue. Kevin caught to me a couple of times and when at one control kevin sprinted to the control and went so fast he fell and missed the dobber, I landed on him and held him down so Anna could punch before us. Anna after had some interesting comments about that, and I really did not give it a 2nd thought about it happening, all in good fun and orienteering with Kevin.

Saturday Jun 2

Running race 37:24 [5] 4.93 mi (7:35 / mi) vdot: 42.2
Trail Run @ Deer Grove 8K
It was humid as heck and Espresso had a kick but run. We both ended up 2nd in our age groups.
I really did not like the way I felt during the run, and see what I have for tomorows 5k / orienteering meet.
Orienteering Related 2:00:00 [2] **
Out to Busse for more meet work. The mesquoitos were hungry and the map needs some updating. Everthing was pretty wet, but there are some cool areas in there.
C • Did you enjoy the Cicadas? 2

Thursday May 31

Road Riding 1:40:00 [3] 22.0 mi (4:31 / mi)
Ride to work again, well I guess its only 22 miles by bike. Headwind all the way, I hope the ride home is faster.
Road Riding 1:28:00 [3] 22.0 mi (3:59 / mi)
Ride home with the wind. 11 minutes faster than in the morning.

Wednesday May 30

Running intervals 1:00:00 [5] 4.5 mi (13:19 / mi)
Track work out night and my partner canceled. We were supposed to do 12X400's. I still went when I was tired from another hot, humid day outside.
I only did 10 because I ended doing a ladder of time, statting with an 88 going down to an 82 and moving back with the last one being a 89. A perfect V. This was not on purpose.
C • excellent... 1

Tuesday May 29
