Training Map walk run by Helsinki airport on Petikko Map. Taking the first 9 controls of Clarks course 4-5 years ago. This map was just as difficult as any from the fin5 or world masters, just much dryer and older map ,that does not quite have the vegatation right anymore. I was just really tired and enjoyed the easy pace navigation.

Saturday Jul 21

Run around Helsinski with stops at the Pavo Nurmi statue and into cool park just north of the Olympic stadium. Also doing some exercises along way ie. pullups and log lifting weight station that seems to be very popular in Finland as a par station.

Friday Jul 20

Orienteering Meet race 1:48:00 [5] ***** 6.2 km (17:25 / km)
Last day of Finn5 and they saved the most difficult for last. I was doing really well untill a 200 meter leg No.5 and this killed me 1 14 minute leg. After I relocated back to the No.4 leg I became slow and clumsey the rest of the course.

Thursday Jul 19

Orienteering Meet race 1:17:00 [5] 7.1 km (10:51 / km)
Day 4 Finn5. probably my best run cause it was a Finn runners course. Even though my long run leg on the road was 4 min slower than straight through, there were lots of trails to take.

Wednesday Jul 18

Orienteering Meet 57:45 [5] *** 4.02 km (14:22 / km)

Finn 5 day 3. Middle distance event. Ok Trying to be carefull again not and that blew a bunch of controls. Also some poor route choices.

Monday Jul 16

Orienteering Meet race 1:17:39 [5] *** 6.52 km (11:55 / km)
spiked:9/10c
Day 2 Finn 5. Much better run. I wanted to be mcuh more carefull after yesterday and it turned out to be a decent run. Only problem was on the 2nd control and lost about 3-4 minutes on this one.
