Road Riding 1:53:00 [3] 27.0 mi (4:11 / mi)
Had to ride a different place and was looking for the Heritage Trail from glen carbon. i ended up on the MCT trails in Collinsville. This was pretty cool paved old railroad grade trails that total about 85 miles. I made a cool loop of 27.
Volleyball 15:00 [1]
Ok how do you describe a volleyball game as training when 3 of the female players have no tops on. This was at PT's by St Louis (strip club) and they were having volleyball out back. pretty cool :)

Saturday Sep 1

Road Riding 1:32:00 [3] 18.7 mi (4:54 / mi)
Road riding down at the farm, now I am starting to get use to my loop here using my cross-bike. However I did not get my heartrate up high so as soon as I returned to the farm i headed out on my run loop through the double arches.
Running 47:00 [3] 6.0 mi (7:49 / mi)
Ok maybe pushing the workout a bit much, but not much to do down here so off I went on a 6 mile run. A bit warm at 80 degrees, but low humidity for a change. I ate a bunch of popcicles and brownies after and wseemed to be a bit dizzy, do I took a nap and still seem to have a mild case of vertigo??. Oh well I pushed to much.

Thursday Aug 30

Road Riding 1:10:00 [4] 20.0 mi (3:29 / mi)
I thought I was going to push the pace and started out strong on 20 mile loop, only to have the wind play games with my pace and just settle into a normal ride of 17.6 MPH

Note
Today my pet problems have gotten worse. Critter is doing excellent after her 2nd surgery last week. Now the bad news. My little dog Louie has been having some problems ever since coming back from CO. He has been up at night whinning some and doing some vomiting. At times his stomach seems to be making loud noises. I took him yesterday for the vet to look at since I was taking Critter to get her drain out. The vet did some blood work and took some X-rays and said his spleen didn't look good. His red blood cell was low also. He stayed overnight and was going for an ultra sound today. The results was to remove the spleen, however his stomach was full of cancer and my decision was to put him down while he was out instead of sewing him up to say goodbye. Sad day. Good bye Louie 13 years of good times and now it time to visit Spikie.

Mt. Biking 1:18:00 [3] 17.6 mi (4:25 / mi)
I had this planned and do feel that I needed to drain off some energy and sadness with a trail ride after work at Grant Forest preserve. All lime stone trail, except for the short road ride from work/school.

Tuesday Aug 28

Running intervals 1:00:00 [5] 3.5 mi (17:08 / mi)
Hot, HUMID and 5 X 800 meter repeats. I did have a partner for 3 of them and than he was done. 2:58, 3:00, 2:57, 2:58, and 3:05. Did I mention HUMID. All day long for me with no relief all day. Cool down walk 1 mile.
