Orienteering Related 5:00:00 [3] 10.0 mi (29:59 / mi)
BBR and had to wait to day light to hang a number of controls, check a few, fix one and ride trails to pick up controls and ditch bike to pick up some more. What a meet, it seems like everone had a good time no matter how bloodly they got.
We had an awesome team to run and work the meet.

Saturday Oct 20

Orienteering Related 3:00:00 [3] 5.0 mi (35:59 / mi)
Early wake up to get the meet ready. Had to hang a number of beginer controls and check to see if a few were still up. Post meet picked up about 11 e. punch stands and headed to Country Lane Woods for control placement till 6:00pm and on to the Big Blues party. This was a blast!!!even though we only heard 3 blues songs.

Friday Oct 19

Orienteering Related 2:00:00 [3] 4.0 mi (30:00 / mi)

Mt. Biking 1:20:00 [4] 22.0 mi (3:38 / mi)
Mt Bike Des Plaines River trail, and with an hour warmup we hit the lung burning, rubber legs, 9 minute trail ride from hell.

What a burn!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday Oct 16

Running tempo 1:00:00 [4] 6.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Great workout, we ran the usual 20 minute tempo run and I was just about 5% below race pace. Jog back to track and did 4 X400's in about 1:30's.

Monday Oct 15

Mt. Biking 1:17:00 [4] 16.0 mi (4:48 / mi)
Another nice quality ride from work to the Grant Forest preserve, and what a suprise to see some of my track girls working out with the x-c coach.
