Sunday Dec 2

Orienteering Meet race 1:28:38 [5] ***** 6.5 km (13:38 / km)
spiked:13/14c
Kellings Lake, and Wi State Champs. It snowed about 6 inches the night before so I was constantly running on or avoiding Joe's tracks. I only went brain dead once and cost me about 5 minutes.
Kellings Lake has some really nice glacial terrain. It was hillly but the icebugs were fine, but really heavy after getting wet.
A super enjoyable run and only wish there was no snow to make running that much better.

Saturday Dec 1

XC-Skiing 7:00 [3] 1.0 mi (7:00 / mi)
Big storm moved in and about three inches of snow and thasn sleet and rain. Finally cleaned up my wax/equipment room and pulled out a pair of rock skis and skied around my yard. 7 minutes but it was cool.

Wednesday Nov 28

Running intervals 58:00 [4] 4.0 mi (14:30 / mi)
Well an indoor workout at Carthage College at the Indoor Track. No problem getting in and I met Steve W for 8 X 400 at 1:30 avg.
Not bad for the first time in a long time. This will become a weekly workout now till the snow flys and we begin grooming Parkside again. As usual we say that even during ski season we should still run at least once a week, but on a Tuesday night when the skiing is great how can you go to a gym and run inside ???
C • how? i'll tell you how... 1

Tuesday Nov 27

Running 31:00 [3] 3.5 mi (8:51 / mi)
Cold run after work on the Alendale Trails. They are pretty nice just 2 1/2 mile loops. Cold but feeling good.
