Sunday Mar 2

XC-Skiing race 55:01 [5] 15 km (3:40 / km)
Greenbush 15 K. It was about 37-39 degrees and about 20% slower than other years. It hit 50 degrees on the way home. Maricel did his first race and ski of the year. Steve Wik won the age group with 51:34. We also hit my sauna for the first time of the year.
XC-Skiing 12:00 [3] 1.0 mi (11:59 / mi)
Warm up and cool down for the race. I usually do the whole 15k again but it was too much work in the slush to really enjoy more skiing.

Friday Feb 29

Floor Hockey 48:00 [4]
First Hour with the good group, except one class did not come so it was 3 on 4. I did 3300 steps that 28 min. I do play hard and it is a good workout. Ok I added another class with 20 minutes

Thursday Feb 28

Floor Hockey 1:02:00 [4]
Ok I kept track of time for 2 classes played ,and hit 6200 of course one class was my last year intense class with 2 other staff playing, both on the other team. It was fun and a great workout.
XC-Skiing 2:03:00 [4] 30 km (4:06 / km)
Oh Yes, I wanted ot get in one long one before Sunday 15K race at Green bush. Thats if the weather doesen't take a dive up. I met Steve and we did 3 loops of 6 k together, ok I was chasing him the last 2 and he was hammering hard cause I was to and still 50-75 meters back most of the time. He left and than I could relax the last two 6 k loops. Conditions were great and I only wish that I would feel like a big drive to the Bear Chase was in the cards, there and back the would be worth it by myself in 2 days. Lots of track meets to coach Fri night and Sat. early.

Wednesday Feb 27

XC-Skiing 1:15:00 [3] 18 km (4:10 / km)
Sweet, Steve groomed Parkside as expected and just finished as i got there. I was beat from a rough physical day. Parkside was perfect!!!!!
and for this time of year the best seen for a long long time.
Running hills 45:00 [4] 4.0 mi (11:14 / mi)
With track team, about 12-13 HS girls. We jogged to the hill, about 3/4 of a mile and did 6 X 1:30 repeats up at their own level. I have one girl who took 18th in the state in X-C running. She is way ahead of the rest. I was pretty sore from floor hockey the last 3 days .
PE Activities 30:00 [3]
Just guessing at how much i run around during the games. I forgot that I can use the pedometer to guage time running around. i will log that tomorow. OH it was floor hockey, the only PE Activity that I log.

Tuesday Feb 26

PE Activities 30:00 [3]
I am just guessing the time, probably much more. I had 8900 steps for the morning 4 classes. Floor Hockey games of course.
XC-Skiing 1:00:00 [3] 12 km (5:00 / km)
Parkside had recieved 4-5 inches of new snow monday night. It was not groomed, but Steve will get it tomorow and it should be excellent.

Monday Feb 25

PE Activities 1:00:00 [3]
Yea, floor hockey starts and I played in the first 4 classes about 15 minutes each class.
Running intervals 40:00 [3] 4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
Track team workout in the snow. We ran about 5 X 600 meters in about 2-2:15 each. It was nice to be outside running again.
