Sunday Jun 22

Orienteering Meet race 55:44 [5]**** 5 km (11:09 / km) +75m 10:22 / km
spiked:9/10c
Faster than the middle distance day. Good concentration except the 10 minutes I lost on #6 control. I was running well with great confidence so I shot straight and went low on the rockey hill. I could of taken the trail bend and suffered some hill climb to attack the control from a good spot and i didn't. Great weekend except all the bingo controls especailly on the brown course, which was bingo city.

Saturday Jun 21

Orienteering Meet race 57:13 [5]***** 4.3 km (13:18 / km) +80m 12:10 / km
spiked:5/9c
Middle distance at Burton Creek. Oh did I not focus right from the beginining. I was not using attachpoints, some of the controls were vague little clearings. Not too many were happy with the courses at Burton Creek. I did have a couple of fast controls,,,, but I did have lots of lost concentration. there were some issues at home that I am not sure if they affected me or not. Clark and i did find a great microbrewery in truckee.

Friday Jun 20

Event: Tahoe 3 Day

Orienteering Meet race 19:44 [5]**** 2.2 km (8:58 / km) +50m 8:03 / km
spiked:11/13c
Northstar Sprint.
What a nice day and passing a bike race on way to meet was way cool.
This was up the ski hill about 1k And it worked its way around down the hill to the village. I really botched #3 when I hit the downhill ski trail and I never saw the open yellow area, so I drifted downhill oops. After that 90+ second error I just made mini mistakes and used this as a warmup for the weekend, not a great start.

Running 32:00 [3]4.0 mi (7:59 / mi)
I needed to run and to save gas, ran down the`road instead of Parkside's trail. I had low turnover on the 2 mile tempo run back. Oh well

Cross Biking Rd/Trail 3:10:00 [3]45.0 mi (4:12 / mi)
I rode to get a massage for sicata and get adjusted by chriopactor. Both were`good as the usual chrio dude was not there, and I always better adjustment when he is not there and he has some hot replacement :)
It was a good day till the wind shifted in my face.

Tuesday Jun 17

Road Riding 1:20:00 [3]20.2 mi (3:58 / mi)
Great day for a ride, just a bit of wind but not bad. usual 20 loop.
