Sunday Aug 17

Road Riding 1:15:00 [3] 18.0 mi (4:09 / mi)
After getting up and more unloading of vehicle, I wanted to get to the award cermony for the Pleasant P Triathlon. I missed it and as I was getting there most people were leaving.

Saturday Aug 16

Orienteering Meet race 18:29 [4] *** 2.1 km (8:48 / km)
spiked:12/13c
Sprint at Silver Springs St Park. This was a warm-up for the night O. Had trouble with the first control getting the scale of the map and some close by feature to make sense.
Road Riding 1:23:00 [2] 15.0 mi (5:31 / mi)
Slow ride with Gary G, nice Stauton IL roads. Had a long ass drive yesterday and did not feel like driving down to the St Louis O meet.
Orienteering Meet race 1:01:41 [5] *** 6.8 km (9:04 / km)
spiked:21/23c
Night O at Silver Springs St Park, small map, but good night course. I took 2nd to Maricel. Small bobble on 11 and 21 was real trickey. The map seems to have some trail not marked but it was a fine time and I got home at 1:00am

Thursday Aug 14

Running 1:10:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:44 / mi)
Ok it was really the same run as yesterday but it was up the Midland bike trail not thw Whipple trail as thought. It seemed easier today climbing up. I looked for a different trail down but could not find it so, it was just extra running on top.
Mt. Biking 2:03:00 [4] 17 km (7:14 / km)
Leadville CO, with Orlyn and Jim M.
This was real MOUNTAIN BIKING, complete with falls, rocks, views, grunts etc. This was tough most of the spots and some really cool riding on Jim's M trail he developed for 4 miles and than he said others continued the trail. Did I say rocks, yes this is the rockey Mts.

Wednesday Aug 13

Running 54:00 [3] 5.0 mi (10:48 / mi)
I needed a run so I was not sure what or where I was going, so in Beuna Vista i crossed the river and ran the whipple trail in about 12 minutes which I believe is about 1 mile and 800 ft climb.
Nice views.
Road Riding 1:10:00 [3] 12.0 mi (5:49 / mi)
Headed out with Tony for ride from his house. BV Colorado
Mostly climb for 38 minutes and than down and around a bit before lunch.

Tuesday Aug 12

Mt. Biking hills 2:30:00 [4] 19.0 mi (7:53 / mi)
Midland trail Beuna Vista Colorado, ride with Orlyn and Jim Applebee, Tony and Bill went on road ride instead. It was tough, hilly and some single track. lots of new sand that was deep and tough to get through.
The views were awesome.

Monday Aug 11
