Orienteering Meet race 1:21:00 [5] *** 7.6 km (10:39 / km) +270m 9:03 / km
spiked:15/16c

well after the big storm yesterday afternoon, we had to party to celebrate that our tents stayed fairly dry. This storm had rain and hail going horzintal at times. The rive formed near my tent and was intense right after the rain stopped. Cowpies floating down and CO Springs had flooding. The new map was awesome, very easy to read and accurate. i really only messed up one control went I went up the hill side and did not see it right away and went back down to relocate.
This ended a month trip of orienteering and camping with my friends. What a great experience. My orienteering was off on usually one or 2 controls. But the fun factor was always there.

Relay Champs at Lake George. My team the I-50 Express took 2nd in the 8 point cat. Now after my crappy O lately I was given the easiest leg. It was orange level, but really fairly tough with lots of climb and heat. This is the meet to get my confidence back...I hope.

Sprint at the Colorado 5 day. Well I messed up the first control again... I think there is a pattern. After that it was all good till Rick B passed me up.

Orienteering Meet race 1:25:00 [4] ***

INight O and after 58 min to finally make the first control, I hit the next 2 and after not really knowing where I was on the 4th, I just bagged it in. I meiss the good fun night stuff later in the course. I should of just followed the crowd to the first, but I decided they were all wrong and went off on my merry way into the O Zone
