GLOF 2010 Canterbury Hills Sprint. Nice event and nice map. 3 seconds behind 1st place Jeff Sager (Coach). In the middle afternoon event I went 4 seconds faster in the finish chute.....oops should of done that for the sprint and would of been first and won a pair of mittens. and place non canadian gets nothing I wonder why? Good warmup for the middle and maybe one less beer or 2 might of helped for the 3 seconds diff.

Orienteering Meet race 32:53 [5] *** 3.1 km (10:36 / km) +160m 8:26 / km

Middle Distance event today and in some hilly areas i was not super sharp. I finished strong as the hills had mellowed out a bit. 2nd place again as Jeff ( Coach) is on fire. Me, I am just average. Good map and great day. Awesome terraine and its just great to be out in the O universe.

Cross Biking Rd/Trail 4:45:00 [3] 56.0 mi (5:05 / mi)

I took off from the land by myself for a long day. I had a great map of the area and it was a blast. Chased by dogs, gravel roads and lots of hills. i met tony and Phil for lunch after 2 hours in Nashille IND for lunch and than rode up to the lookout tower in Brown county State Park. Awesome ride and the roads down here are some of the best riding around ( as far as I know).

Orienteering Related 32:00 [3] 2.5 mi (12:48 / mi)

I forgot what people call it when you just scramble in the woods. So on Phils 110 acres i took off, up and down reantrants and found a marked trail that is on Yellowood's National forest property. It as checked later the Tecumseh Trail. Yes I did get sorta lost and wound up on the road bordering his land and ran the road back. NICE!

New record from my house to MB's house in Grayslake, using the Des Plaines river trail of course. Nice wind from the northeast to help push, and it felt good!!
