XC-Skiing 2:20:00 [4] 30.0 km (4:40 / km) +400m 4:23 / km
ahr:132 max:160

Nordic in 40 degrees and sun.
A bit slow and more work ,way less glide then normal. With my T6 sunnto, it tells me that L-Peak is exactly twice as hilly the Nordic ski trail.

Looking for shade on the course to pick up glide today.

Snowshoe 30:00 [3] 1.0 mi (30:00 / mi)

Took the snowhoes out to check the back woods and its the first time I really needed them to walk out back.

Event: Snowgaine!

XC-Skiing 3:08:00 [3] 44.0 km (4:16 / km) +1200m 3:46 / km
ahr:138 max:162

L _peak and first time up the big slide and did it 4 X. The climb today was only 400 feet less than Tahoe Donner for 32 less minutes skiing. Don't say this is a flat Wisconsin area, cause its not. Felt good most of the day and even wore out Steve as he dropped after 3 of the 4 11 K loops.

Cold but sunny day at Parkside, warm and very comfortable.

XC-Skiing 1:34:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:42 / km)

COLD Cold ski day, but it was a blow off of the WED Night Race.
.Today was sunny and I was dressed almost perfectly for the conditions. Which, I had great glide, ski partner and new Toko mitts that kept my hands very toasty for a change. A guy we passed and he came back saying after I asked him if it was cold out there, he said "stupid cold", I laughed and said ....something to Steve which was only one of few laughs.

Wait till the weekend!! Best snow in 30 years and low 30's temps YEA!!!!

No Snowgaine, but lots of skiing, always said snow is for skiing. Maybe next year a march or april snowgaine without so much snow.

XC-Skiing 1:05:00 [3] 13.0 km (5:00 / km)

Home on the range..Parkside that is. Fantastic job and lots of hard work by the groomers while I was away. The conditions remain with tons of snow, but a bit soft for poling at times. With the extreem cold Wed, Steve and I have decided to not race tonight. He is already out of the medal since he will miss next week's last race and we have already established that he is third and I will be 4th. I will still go next week but since missing 2 races, you are out of the medal count.
