XC-Skiing 24:33 [3] 4.32 km (5:41 / km)

Skied back one and up to the north 500 meters past my neighbors back yards. Really decent snow and used good skis. The purpose of this was to ski with 2 different right hand poles one was 2 inches and one was 1 inch shorter then my normal pole. I have decided to cut my good pole down one inch to help my messed up shoulder that will never recover from shoulder surgery 4 years ago. I think it feels better with a shortened pole. So now I will get to bring it up an inch lower and possible get more power out of weakened arm.

XC-Skiing 2:02:00 [3] 24.0 km (5:05 / km)

McMiller trail in the South Kettle Moraine. Temps were about 35 so it was not the best glide.
This trail was redesigned and really if the woods were not so thick would make great orienteering.
The views through the woods looking at all the great topography were fantastic. One of the best trail systems anywhere.

The 4 th Wed night race....not real happy about how I skied, and my place but....skied about as hard as my body would take me....need more high speed training instead of just logging miles.

XC-Skiing 1:18:00 [3] 15.2 km (5:08 / km)

Back to Blueberry in the drizzle. Course was super fast and reminded me of a race there 20 years aga that had the same conditions. It was fast then too!
However today windbreaker was a sheet of ice when I finished.
Now headed home to Mudville :-(

XC-Skiing race 1:19:44 [5] 24.0 km (3:19 / km)
ahr:155 max:165

Noquemanon Ski Race. I changed 20 days ago to the half race due to failing body parts and lack of conditioning. Weather was perfect at about mid 20's.
It was the first time in 18 years I did the half. It was a nice change and super conditions for skiing today in Marquette Michigan.
Felt strong from start to finish and thus half of the race avoids most of the big hills and actually drops in elevation from start to finish.
Overall 6 th in my age group.
