Wednesday Night Ski Race.
They actually held the race, so we went grudgingly. But , the conditions for the man made snow were actually very fast. Steve Wik said at the start it was treacherous. I had snow cone like conditions with harder, icier, hardpack on the edges. There a hill, called" magic carpet ride" and with these conditions, you needed a good edge to make the fast downhill turn with others around. I had to pass guys twice on that corner on the 4 loop course.
After we finished the race I realized that,
I never told Steve I played and coached hockey for some 20 years :-)
The temps are predicated to hit 50's this weekend, and the Nokie race next weekend is being effected. I wouldn't mind if they shorten the course either.

Who hoo Greenbush was excellent 25 degrees, sun shinning, no wind and they have SNOW!!
Excellent trail conditions!!!
I went for an endurance workout. Tough when you don't have much of a base. My shoulders are weak but can manage to ski. My serious should pain last week much of been because of my fall landing on my hand.
Will have to recover quick and go back tomorrow as Monday its going to rain. This season really sucks, as I will miss a local O meet because i have to ski when i get so few chances.

Lapham Peak, great 1k loop man made snow in excellent shape.
Funny that when I hit some overspray on the trail it was deathly slow, like putting on the brakes. Only one little spot had it on the trail and the shortcut trail had it bad. My skis were not waxed either as they were my rock skis.
