Bristol Woods and an event put on by my friend. He just set a 5k course and you could do it as many times as you like. My O friend Stan showed up and we sorta ran together.
The weather was perfect, 60's and sunny. The course extremely muddy and slow. More like a real mud run for sure. Nice food and beer after sitting in the sun, how nice, and close to home.

Very easy run at Parkside and surrounding area. Pretty muddy and felt good when I got on road. Able to open up and kick off some mud.

Nice warm Feb day. Wanted 2 hour ride to continue training for the Birkie next weekend. Hopefully with the warm weather they can still put it off. But it might have to be shortened, it's like 50's up there for a few days and then cools off the night before the race. Kinda goes with the ski season.

Greenbush today, absolutely no snow till we got near the trail. It was very hard packed and you could find some decent skiing in there. You just did want to fall or you could get hurt. It was groomed and had frozen corduroy.
Good for learning skills like snowplowing hard icey downhills.

Well it started as a dog run, but I did not dress Stella warm enough and she got out of her harness and ran back to the vehicles stopping to see me a few times and continued to the vehicle. Damn lucky no one was around. I guess she is not racing this weekend.
I finished out running without her.

Another CaniCross training run with Stella. For one mile she actually was pulling a bit. That picked up the pace pretty nice.
