Raceway Woods. As meet director, I was able to get out and run when registration closed. This map has some thick woods and has technical areas. Very challenging. I was just not into pushing it and made some errors of course .
Great group of volunteers and most headed out for lunch and drinks afterward.

Road Riding 50:00 [3] 9.0 mi (5:33 / mi)

Super windy ride, fast with the wind and killer slow against.
This included a full day of work in the yard. Which means at this time of year everything is almost in control, except me.

Running 37:00 [3] 5.23 km (7:04 / km)
shoes: Silver Solomon

Ran the Trillium area that is so cool to see all the wildflowers in bloom.
However at the start was a bunch of kids using Mt bikes and there's these big holes and jumps making new trail. Thus destroyed lots of native Triullum habitat . I called the next morning to the head of the maintaince dept about 500 meters from this area. He explained that there is no set policy for Mt bikers in this area. In a western county park of kenosha they groom the Mt bike trails even in the winter. So Im not sure where they are at with them but he said it was an ongoing problem and he would get off his ass and check it out.
We will see what they plan to do. Whatever they do it will continue to degrade the area of natural flowers.
