Chicago City O. 4 hour rogaine I'd call it.
Chris S decided at the last minute to enter, so we teamed up. Probably wasn't sure he wanted to go for 4, but I convinced him to hang in there.
We saw a lot of the city and sweep the course... but to to the Chicago Triathlon going on at the same time a lot of controls were cancelled around probably the coolest area of the map, along the lake, old Meg's field and solider field area.
Not a big turnout with about 10 running groups and 3 bikers. Sorta disappointing.
The weather was cool and threatened to rain a lot but never did.
An answer sheet for the questions at the controls was the proof of visiting the controls. Makes cleanup pretty easy, but writing answers kinda sucks.
Great day in Chicago after a great dinner with Chitown.

St Patrick's park near South Bend Ind.
Nice park with lots of trails with thick woods and fields.
Full offering of courses, so I took the 7.6k Red course.
Lots of running early till we ran into some thick stuff. Still tried to use as much trail as possible.
Very nice event and lots of young Army kids out running on the Orange courses.
