Last minute decided last night to drive 2:15 today to race in Tampa at university South Florida?? Suncoast Orienteering Club has nice maps!
Very long 9.1k sprint on campus. A few bobbles but not much else. It was fun, quick and drove back to east coast right after.
Was going to do a 5k closer, but after yesterday’s lame run, Orienteering seemed like a much better activity.
No compass used either.

The sand was not firm like the west coast. Did not like it so much.

Wednesday night race. Pure Fast sugar snow!!
It was nice, I raced well, except I never saw the guy I needed to beat to move up to 3 rd in the races series.
He was there and beat me. I need to beat him next week to be tied and than the 7 th and final race would be the tie breaker.
Wish we had snow to train on this year.
