5k Race in Racine along Lake Michigan. 2nd 5k Race in two days.
Even though both races looked like they would be rain outs I still went and was rewarded by no rain during the races.

Obvious fall off in performance today compared to yesterday.

This was another small race, at one point the lead women passed me, with 4 big hills on this course, I passed her on the 3rd one and never looked back.
Crazy weather along the shores, but very beautiful course. But it was all concrete, so I need a break from that.
Felt I needed back to back races for Wyoming training. That’s 6 days in a row there.

5k race, but 190 meters short by my GPS.
Sun stayed tucked under clouds for 80% of the race. Small race from a Wisconsin high school. Started with 1 1/2 laps in the track.
Happy with my body and felt pretty good for the most part.
I have to continue this type of training that I sorta got away from.

Rode into Kenosha to watch a lunch time blues musician.
He was good, the weather perfect along the lakefront.
Took a different route back.

This is way too hot right now. I was going to run inside at the rec plex, but it clouded up and was windy. So I thought I would run around the lake. The sun came out a bit and that sucked all my energy, 91 degrees and humid...
