Day 4. Ugh to my first control where I lost 8 minutes. Went to the south west too much and didn’t have a clue where I was at.
The rest of the course was pretty easy and fun. Just lots of sidehill work.

The drive up to Risoul has been used in the Tour da France many times in the past and seems like I’ve seen those hills on tv before.

Day 3 of the French 5 Day
Mountain climbing is the word for this meet. Serious climb with easy O. From 5-6 was a climb of 20 5 meter contour lines.
Actually feeling the best of this trip right now with my chest better and energy coming back. Only took two weeks.
Lost a lot of time because of the sole of my shoe 3/4 off. Hard to side hill and go down with the freaking ice bug shows like that in the pic below :-(

Post race hike down the mountain that was sorta brutal of the organizers as you were supposed to only get a chair ride down if you were over 60, injured, or had children.

Mountain O as we took a lift to almost the top of the ski area.

Late late start and nice and cool weather for the event.
Really not a good run as I had no Attackpoint to no 2.
Lost 3 minutes to that control and really not much route choice after that.

Day 1 French 5 Day. Sprint at a fort. But there were different levels and stairs.
