10 k race/run in Negril Jamaica. 5:15 am start.
1100 people running three events 10k, half and full marathon. Fun time, dark out up lightens up at the end. A few friends get up to watch the race go by ringing cowbells I fave them. Pasta party night before is so good you end up eating way too much before the event.
I just wanted to jog the whole thing and I did. Still took 2nd in my age group down from first. But being my 4th run in a month and 1/2... I usually end my years training at this event, this year I’m starting it,
