The Great Nosh, trail running race in Sydney. Didn't really know what to expect so just went out to have a good time. It was about 70% of quite rough single tracks - rocky, wet, muddy, slippery... But fun! I struggled a little in the uphills and died a little on the last 2 km. But other than that I was really happy with how it went!

Intervals around the bikepath at the oval near the Blatchfords house. 7 x 600 meters. First one was a bit slower to get in to it, 4.29 min/k, then 4.14, 4.12, 4.10, 4.04, 4.06, 3.57. Happy to get under 4 for the last one! Did this session in March last year too and looked back at it after to compare. Did 8 that time, this time 7. Did all under 4 min/k that time so a bit off today. But not too bad. My knee was a little bit sore still. But it felt better doing this then running in the supermarket to get sour cream that I had forgotten... Not sure why.

With Josh at Walka. Nice running conditions! It had just stopped raining and was like 17 degrees. Rained a bit on an off during the run though. Felt like I had to work quite hard for this running pace so that was a bit disappointing, but it still felt like a good run. My knee hurt a bit at the end, from when I fell on it last week.

Paddling in a double kayak for 3 hrs. Gosh this was hard on the arms! Josh thinks he did most of the work... And that's probably true. Doesn't mean I didn't work hard though, haha!
