Black Beck galoppen - Green.
Feeling very run down after all of the coaching preparation and looking after the juniors. Long wait in queue to start whilst the snow showers came through. Couldn't seem to string two good controls together.
#1 navigated well to the reentrant but no flag. Went back to check previous flag in reentrant I had passed but wrong code. Checked hills and returned to original reentrant but still no flag. Checked control description - foot of spur :o(. Bearing towards #2 but very flaky. Wrong line into #3, spiked #4.
Then the long leg into Black Beck woods - thought I had nailed the leg but ended in wrong parallel reentrant and had to climb across to the correct one.
Seemed to nail #6 and happy across towards #7 but then couldn't make the reentrants fit and wasted another minute or so.
#8 ok, and only minor hesitation to #9 but poor exit direction. So the fumbling went on around the rest of the course back through Dockney woods. Spiked the last 3 controls.
Feeling very tired and washed out. Mouth ulcers, sore throat, etc.

UVHS Training Day at Tarn Hows. It SNOWED! Couldn't get the car into the car park, parking at the bottom of Monk Coniston hill. Much faffing and minging weather for first couple of hours. Break in the weather around noon but kids cold and wet.
Frustrating after all of the planning.

It snowed - so much fun. Legs and hip felt ok - taking it steady with much walking up hills.
