Wainwrights walk above Coniston.
Climb Wetherlam, across to Prison Band and up to Swirl How. Great Carrs, across to Grey Friar, back to Brim Fell & Old Man. Return to Dow Crag and along to Brown Pike. Use Walna Scar road to lop back around to Miners Bridge.
Drzzly to start and spent most of the walk in cloud.

Down to & along Ropewalk then down past Glaxo to Bay Horse. Back along canal.
Very wet with each mile becoming progressively wetter - drenched along canal. Good leg turner though.
