But out with Rachel in the cold win over Kirby Moor. Climbed up Shooting House Hill to start. Never going well but managed to drag myself around the loop - Rachel loving it.

Felt better later in the evening.

Dalton O - everywhere sodden. Took the secaturs to cut back the big briars from the green lanes. With stop/start soon felt very tired - like jogging on the spot. Real plod to complete. Stile at Standing Tarn now fully underwater and having to climb barb wire fence :o(.

Horrace Farm, Rathmoss, shooting buttes to Beck Side road, etc.
Slightly higher across heather on Dalton Moor meant slightly shorter loop.

Managed to drive as far as Horrace Farm driving up from Marton - some snow & ice still on the road.
Jogged down to Harlock, then climbed south to Mean Moor, spot height on Dalton Moor. Then headed north to Bank House Moor climbing track up Long Slack. Dropped down to Beck Side road & track past shooting buttes towards Peppers Wood & Rathmoss. Light covering of wet snow underfoot and really not feeling very bouncy through the heather.
